1. How do I charge an electric car at ChargeIn EV stations?
Key rule: start the charging session first, then plug in the cable.
In the ChargeIn Go app – select the station and connector, then tap “Start charging”.
Or – tap your payment/charging card on the terminal.
Connect the cable to your vehicle and follow the instructions in the app or on the station screen.

2. Authorization hold during charging – how does it work?
- PLN 200 – when charging via the app.
- PLN 300 – when charging via the terminal.
After the session ends, only the actual energy used is charged, and the remaining amount is automatically refunded to your account.
3. Are ChargeIn charging stations available in roaming?
Yes, including: Shell Recharge, DCS, GreenWay Poland, Elli, Threeforce B.V., Monta ApS, DE-NBW, DE-TRA, GB-EJN, GreenFlux Assets B.V., Volkswagen Group Charging, and EWE Go.
4. How do I check charging station availability?
The ChargeIn Go app provides a map of charging stations with information about available connectors and charging power.

6. How do I add a VAT ID in the ChargeIn Go app?
Open the app → Profile → Settings → Payment methods.
Select your payment method.
In the “VAT ID (optional)” field, enter your number and save the changes.
From now on, your invoices will include your VAT ID.
7. Where can I find my charging invoice in the ChargeIn Go app?
In the Charging history tab, next to the specific session. It may appear with a short delay of a few minutes.
